Digital contraceptives, fertility & nursing care, periods tracker, fertility monitoring devices ... Closing the gender-gap in technology is also part of the discussion and the market of technology geared towards improving women’s life is rapidly growing.
Digital health start-ups have been shaking-up the long standing trend of women underrepresentation in the healthcare & technology sectors de-stigmatizing areas previously left in the shadow.
But according to Forbes, currently only 10% of global investment goes to female-led startups.

The TechFem trend has been focusing on reproductive health so far but is now expending to "women's health" in general. On the premise that there is a high prevalence of chronic disease amongst women, several companies are working towards making specialized solutions for women with chronic conditions based on their physiology and psychology.
