Anaïs Godard is a Franco-American writer and advocate, committed to amplifying underrepresented voices in literature and beyond. A 2024 fiction fellow at both Idyllwild Arts and Women Who Submit, her work has appeared in Mensa Bulletin, WoW, Flash Fiction Magazine, and Beyond Words Lit Mag. With a Master's in Linguistics and Semiotics from La Sorbonne, Anaïs likes to explore the connections between myth and reality, weaving narratives inspired by her experiences as a survivor, immigrant, and mother of twins, one of whom has cerebral palsy.

During her career in television, Anaïs co-founded @nastywomenLA, an advocacy group supporting women and marginalized voices in the arts. She continues her advocacy through her writing and as a contributor to Uncharted Magazine. She has also taken part in activist exhibitions such as WE RISE in LA. When she’s not writing or editing, you can find her exploring LA's libraries and other fantastical realms with her children.
